Title: Happy so far
PostedJanuary 1, 2013
Yes, I would recommend this product
Only had this laptop for a couple of weeks but so far it seems to be ticking all the boxes. I went for a 3rd generation Intel i5 core over an i3 due to wanting to use the laptop as a replacement for my Dell desktop which after 4 years was still going strong without fault. My main use for this laptop is web browsing and sending e-mails but also as an amateur photographer I wanted some decent processing power to use Photoshop with. After looking around the web and getting different peoples opinions I settled on an Intel i5 machine with 4gb Ram and room to expand and a reasonable size hard drive. This laptop ticked the boxes and when compared to other laptops out there had the advantage of all the USB ports being USB 3.0 type none of the older USB 2.0 so well future proofed. Only let down for me is the 4gb of RAM but looking in the parts store another 4gb of RAM isn't expensive so that won't be a problem to buy and install. I do like the keyboard feels much nicer than my girlfriends Hewlett Packard laptop which feels more wooden and I don't miss not having a numeric pad of the right hand side either. Over all I am very happy with this laptop even though Windows 8 takes getting used to. Would definitely buy another Dell in a few years time when this current one is old tech
Pros:photogrpah editing, web browsing, emailing
