Yes, I would recommend this product
I bought the 32GB model. It comes with the latest Android version, minimal apps installed. Easy to setup and sync with your Google Play account. My apps downloaded and work flawlessly. Touch screen is very responsive, and multitasking between apps is a delight. Battery life is very good, and barely drains any battery in standby mode. MicroSD card slot is nice to have to backup and move files around. I installed a 32GB card into the slot. The display resolution is very nice and text is clear and crisp. I'll be taking this on my next flight, instead of carrying around a laptop. It has all the apps I need for work and for play.
Pros:excellent construction, good battery life, very responsive touch screen

Yes, I would recommend this product
I bought the Intel i5 with 6GB model. Windows 8 runs perfect and smooth on this laptop. The 32GB SSD with Intel's Rapid Start feature makes it boot up very fast. When you shut off the laptop, it goes into a deep sleep mode and boots back up to the Windows logon screen in about five seconds or less. Battery life appears good for my needs. The display is very clear and bright, and text sharp due to the nice glossy screen. Screen resolution, even though 720p, appears good at this size of screen. The laptop is silent, and runs cool with average use. Build quality is more than good enough. Laptop keys are a little mushy but they are at least quiet. Trackpad is good once you configure it to your liking with the trackpad software. Installed software from Dell is minimal, and the stuff that is installed is useful. If the XPS models are a little out of reach, I'd recommend taking a look at these Inspiron models.
Pros:performance, quiet and cool
Cons:dvd drive not really needed anymore, battery life okay but could be better (approx.5hr)
