Yes, I would recommend this product
I've been using Dell PC's for years. I got the Dell XPS One 27 to replace my 2009 XPS tower. I wasn't planning on replacing it until I saw this all-in-one model and read some great reviews about it. I love the design of the iMac, but I've always been a Windows user, and I think the idea of the all-in-one is definitely "the way of the future". This PC has a beautiful simplicity about it.
I got the "best" model (Blu-Ray, 2 TB hard drive, SSD, etc.) and it was definitely the right choice for me. HD video looks stunning on this screen. Beware that it is a very glossy screen if you don't like that, but I've always been a fan of the shiny, vibrant colors that they offer.
I didn't realize just how fast this PC was until I tried some video editing. It's night and day compared to my old tower. It blazed through my project like it was nothing! Also the extra real estate on the screen is great for any sort of design work.
I do wish that I had the option to upgrade to a high-end graphics card. I would love it if I could play games at the native resolution of 2560x1440, but I tried Mass Effect 3 at that setting and the frame rate was a little slow. Of course, it can game easily at full HD, and like I said, HD video looks great the 27" screen. Just remember that it's a mid-range laptop graphics card and if you are one of them hardcore gamers, I would probably stick with a gaming desktop instead if you're looking to play at such a high res.
Also, the included keyboard and mouse are much too compact and simple for my tastes, so I will be on the hunt for a new wireless set soon.
It was very exciting to get rid of the wire jungle that used to be on my desk and replace it with this sleek, powerful PC. Perfect for my tiny office space. I don't see how I could ever go back! I think it's an excellent choice for any multimedia or graphic design enthusiast.
Pros:Gaming, multimedia, Video Editing, graphic design/photoshop
