Powerful Enough To Replace A Desktop PC

I have owned/used Dell PCs since 1997 and find that overall, they provide an exceptional value for all types of users. As a business owner, I have relied on desktop PCs for website design, graphics, and most recently, video editing. The system requirements to accomplish these, as well as other tasks, have always made laptops too expensive to justify their costs. But recently, I needed portability and instead of having a desktop and a laptop, which I did have for a while, I decided to consolidate and take the plunge for a laptop that would be able to fit my needs. My decision was to purchase not just one laptop, but two Dell Inspiron 15R Special Edition laptops... one for me and one for my wife, who edits professional photographs.
Needless to say, we have been exceptionally happy with the units and spared no expense in loading them with the options I felt were appropriate for my needs. These laptops are extremely powerful and are truly perfect replacements for both of our desktop PCs... one of which was an actual gaming PC.
Purchased just a couple of months prior to the release of Window 8, my unit comes with Windows 7, 8GB RAM, INtel Core i7-3612QM processor, 1TB hard drive with 32GB SSD for ultra fast booting and application uses, the combo Blue Ray player and CD/DVD burner, and many more extras.
The unit is perfectly balanced in size and weight, making it both a great desktop replacement and portable unit for on-the-go tasking. Of all my Dell PC purchases, I can honestly say that this has been the best laptop purchase I have made to date, and highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a laptop that can do just about anything.

PROS
The keyboard is perfectly balanced in size and weight. The tactile feel is exceptional, making typing effortlessly and error free. The weight makes it ideal for easy portability. And the battery life is exceptional. It installs easily and fast.

REVIEW
As an avid Logitech user, this unit was purchased to replace an older IOGEAR keyboard unit that I paid 3 times as much as the Logitech. Although it was a great unit, it did not last as long as any of my previous Logitech purchases. The craftsmanship of the Logitech keyboard is exceptional. The keys have a superior tactile feel to most competitors, making it easy to use. It is a well balanced keyboard with just the right number of additional function keys in just the right place. A no-frills keyboard at a bargain price that actually outperforms other keyboards costing twice as much as this.

PROS
The game offers a multitude of levels and customization to fit your exercise routine. It offers two speeds, providing very detailed and precise instructions on how to perform each move. It allows you to track your progress and a multitude of routines for an intense workout covering from warming up, cardio workout, and cooling down.
CONS
The actual dance moves are so intricate that the remote is not capable of precise detection of your body, so while your dancing might be off, the console is not able to detect it.
PREVIEW
I find that this program is an exceptional alternative to expensive gym memberships. In addition, it is much more affordable than multi-DVD packs offering the same moves. The bonus is the fact that it can at least provide some sort of guidance with the remote... something that a DVD cannot offer, making it a superior tool than purchasing Zumba instructional DVDs. It is great fun and works up a sweat.

PROS
Very easy to hookup and use. The controls are very intuitive and precise, offering a full range of motion.
CONS
No true cons, other than I should have purchased more remotes.
REVIEW
The Nintendo WII is truly a family oriented gaming console that offers a wide array of family friendly game titles that caters to all ages... especially to my 2 1/2 year old son. I have owned XBOX and PlayStation, and although they are truly powerful and exceptional gaming consoles, I find that WII is highly interactive and provides a family friendly experience that the other gaming consoles simply cannot offer. It provides hours of exhilarating family and friend interactive fun I was never able to experience with the other consoles. I highly recommend the Nintendo WII to families with young children.

Only wish Corsair made this one in a 64 GB capacity.
Pros:Tough, solid design. Very durable and truly waterproof. Great capacity (replaces my collection of independent smaller drives). Good performance, and a name I can trust.
Cons:None. Really.
