This is the best bang-for-the-buck server on the market. 32 Cores, 1TB of RAM, and 16 15000rpm SaS 6gb/s drives, and 10GbE in a 4u box. It cannot be beat for the money and size. I have been running this config with SSD for about 3 months now and have had ZERO issues. Be sure to get the Enterprise iDRAC. It's well worth the additional money. Pulls a little less than 5amps at idle. Not sure what it pulls under heavy load.
Pros:oracle database, software development, microsoft hyperv, software testing, virtualization, database

Title:
This machine is a powerhouse!

I helped debug this machine while I was an intern. This machine is AWESOME! The computing power is great, and everything in the machine is easily accessible as well. You don't need tools to take apart the computer. The fan bay can be easily lifted out of the chassis, and there is quick access to the RAM, processors, and the mainboard (motherboard).
The machine is reliable also. The debug engineers continuously slammed and vibrated the prototype to find any weaknesses in the design. We weren't happy with the design unless the prototype was still fully functional after all of the abuse.
