Yes, I would recommend this product
I have used this monitor for a year now, and I couldn't be happier. I am not a "Gamer", but use it for Business, and HD Media.
I believe that 1080 in 16x9, will be the new "standard" format for displays. And, 24" a perfect size for the desktop. (at least for me)
A 24" in 16x9 gives you the same Vertical size of a 19" 4x3.

Connectivity. VGA,DVI,HDMI. versatile.
(presents 1080 very nicely via VGA)
Moderately priced.
