I like the fact it has IR sensors front an back. Why buy a wide screen lcd for home. buy one of these. It's got a lot of potential out of the office too.
Pros:Very very very bright, crisp clear picture. Great carry case, robust design, great remote control, quiet operation. Just can't get over the great picture even in a very well lit room. Start up time is quite quick too - but the great image will get you every time with this projector.
Cons:Very poor at detecting input source. If you are swapping between various devices it's very slow detecting the swap and seems quite tempremental. The manual input selection is best. The menu deisgn and operation are not as good as they could be.

Level of Expertise:Good

Yes, I would recommend this product
The fan noise is perfectly respectable and runs quiter when in eco mode. The remote control works very well and saves having to be at the unit should any adjustments need to be made. From what I can tell the auto keystone feature works well. I am thoroughly impressed with this projector and would recommend this to anyone. I purchased this when Dell were doing a 25% off the original price so this made it even better value.
Pros:Brightness - Even in "Eco Mode" the brightness is excellent in bright rooms.
The menu system is easy to use with plenty of options.
When used for displaying computer output the image is crisp and clear.
DVD output is of excellent quality with images being clear and sharp.
Good supply of cables to attach different devices using s-video, composite, 15pin D-Sub, component cable adapter, usb cable, audio cable.
The provided carry case is excellent and makes the unit feel sturdy when being stowed away.
Cons:No DVI or HDMI but don't let this put you off.
