No, I do not recommend this product.
I purchased this to replace a Xerox M15. We use it primarily for copying and faxing with some printing and scanning as well in our small (<15 employee) office. In general, it works well and is easy to use. The navigation and display is intuitive and paper handling has worked without a hitch. We probably fax out 30 pages/day and receive about the same amount. Specific problems: It sporadically displays "Please wait initializing" and requires that we power cycle it to get it to work again. Faxing is a bit slow and cumbersome compared to previous machines. First, you have to wait until a fax is completed before you can scan the next document to be faxed as compared to the Xerox which let us continue scanning while the machine dialed out - a real time saver. 2nd, there's no broadcast fax capability - If faxing to 100 recipients, you have to dial 100 numbers, 1 at a time. 3rd, there's no fax# memory, so have your phone list handy.

Yes, I would recommend this product
I purchased this several months ago to replace my 1815 multifunction, which started giving up the ghost after 4 years of service. The scanning function is significantly improved form the 1815, and mine came with Paperport 12, which was a very nice addition. Overall this is a very nice printer / scanner / copier (I use an online fax), and I am very happy.

Yes, I would recommend this product
I use this printer in small office and does everything I need it to quickly. Including scanning large documents both sides without me having to mess around feeding in pages. I have prior to this used high capacity printer scanner costing over £5,000 which I would rather have this printer instead. I have the additional paper tray, which did get a problem after 10 months but was replaced free. It’s fantastic value and reliable and fast what more do you want? ok colour!
