No, I do not recommend this product.
If you have a smaller (15" or less) laptop that gets warm and almost never leaves the desk, this fan is fine. It's definitely not ideal for putting in your lap or even moving around to different surfaces very often. What I did find, however, is that this fan is GREAT for slapping under a playstation 3 to get some extra airflow! Was useless for my laptop as it was both too big for the fan and gets moved around a lot, but its really helped keep my PS3 cooled off in the entertainment center!

No, I do not recommend this product.
I bought this cooling pad because it is relatively cheap price. But cheap price also means cheap quality. This fan does not last, the curved design makes it easy for the fan to be pressed against a surface you put it on. The fan breaks very easily.
