Yes, I would recommend this product
I read reviews for powerline products and it seems to be hit or miss depending on your house's electrical wiring.
I needed to extend my network to an external garage and wireless repeating/bridging wasn't cutting it. Popped this guy in an outlet in the garage and in an outlet on the same circuit in the house and works like magic.
Now I have connected a wireless ap to it out in the garage and have great connectivity.
I played around with some different outlets and didn't get great signal with some. It definitely helps if you can put it on the same circuit.
