I received this product on 10/16/2012 and installed it from the disk with online update. It would not activate. Tech support had to straighten out the problem. Today (10/29/2012), after McAfee updated automatically, it reset my subscription from "activated" to "need to activate by 10/31/2012" just like it was the first time. Again, tech support had to repair it. I asked the tech what was the problem and he told me it was a licensing issue. He assured me it won't happen again. If it does, I hope someone gives me my money back for the original product and the 6-month extension I bought for an additional $10. At this rate, I cannot recommend this program. I should give it a "zero" but McAfee's tech support has been fabulous. Highly recommend tech support. Cannot recommend McAfee for not correcting a known licensing issue so that it won't recur.
