No, I do not recommend this product.
My old kindle is faster at loading a browser page then this thing, only has getjar for apps which has to be the worst since most of the apps won't download. And speaking of apps can't tell you how many times it says various apps aren't working and gives me the option to shut it down which it does only for a few minutes and 5 minutes later I'm told its not working do I want to wait or shut it down which is very annoying, and it seems to really need a micro sd card which I didn't get as I didn't realize I would need it. Takes all day just to read my email sheesh.I really wished I would have saved my money and got something else instead.

Worth it for the price

Yes, I would recommend this product
I am finding I am enjoying this product. For people who can't afford the more expensive tablets like myself, it does more than I thought it would. Since the update, it is capable of getting stuff from the Play store. I love playing games on it, can interact with a friend a province away. It will do Skype, email, news and more. The camera is not that great. However being able to talk to it and it will type what you say either in Skype, in your browser or email is worth it to me.
Pros:games, email

I loveee this tablet! I was looking for something for a while that had all the features that this one has for the price that it costs. It's a great little toy that is super fast and the color is amazing on it! It comes pre loaded with lots of apps and downloading new apps is very easy using the software that they provide! Connects to wifi very easily and is user friendly for the tech savy and the newbies. I recommend this product!
Pros:e reader, netflix, facebook, games

Flimsy,poorly made

No, I do not recommend this product.
The tablet it self seemed to work ok, but like others mentioned about the app store . Thing I don't like is, the box says 1 year warranty, when you look at the paper work it says 120 days. When you hold the tablet normally with your fingers on the back side, on dark pages etc your finger tips make a water drop effect on its main screen because the back of the machine touches the backside of the lcd screen. I had another sent to me to see if it was a fluke, no same thing with second tablet. Aluratek asked me if I was pressing hard, why and what for? It happens when you just hold it with the slightest pressure on finger tips. If you don't, you'll drop it. Also, neither pad would work with a 32 gig card. Kept saying damaged card, its not damaged, properly formatted worked properly in all my other devices. 4 gig card worked fine in it. Also, the sides buttons are a nuisance because when you hold it, the slights touch closes a page your on etc, they're in the wrong place.
