Yes, I would recommend this product
I am certainly not an expert but did a decent amount of research before the purchase. We had size limitations and 47" was largest we could go. Very happy so far with all aspects of the TV. The family enjoys the 3D but we don't use it alot yet but I expect we will in the future. Probably should have paid the extra $$$ to have it professionally installed as we had an issue but that related to our knowledge or lack thereof and not related to the product. We have a 32" Sony Bravia in a spare room and that was the go to TV for important sports viewing but the LG has easily taken its place. I would certainly recommend it and didn't buy it for the 3D or wifi capabilities but those certainly are nice to have when needed.
