Title:

Nice TV

PostedJuly 5, 2012
Yes, I would recommend this product
Pros:
This is beautiful TV with a very good display. There are many cool features that allow you to access content like youtube, pandora, and the internet. The magic wand remote makes it easy to navigate the internet. The 3D feature works great and you don't have flicker like some 3D TVs. The screen is very thin and the bevel is almost unnoticeable.
Cons:
The main complaint about this TV is the same magic wand remote that makes navigation simple. The remote is very sensitive. Moving the remote even the slightest causes a cursor to pop up on the screen. When navigating, it is easy to accidentally scroll the wheel (which doubles as the enter button). The wheel is mainly used for TV tuning, so if you don't use a tuner (ie cable box) a pop-menu comes up asking if you want to switch to the tuner. This becomes quite irritating. There doesn't seem to be a way to turn that feature off either. Also, the remote cannot be programmed to use any other device. You can control other LG connected devices, but I found that it doesn't do it very well. You also have to point to your input device with the wand control, so using a universal remote to select inputs doesn't work well.
Overall review
This TV is overall very nice. But if you have a complicated setup you might get very frustrated.
