Setup Great, Very Easy...

The NovaBackup Utility is pretty lousy, I found that you can't disable the guest account and still use the utility to backup your files. Which is a security issue.
Due to the security concerns Dropped rating to average.

Yes, I would recommend this product
Using to replace a PC that was acting as my file server. This device is small, quiet and cool (not heat generating). I have been copying my files to it during nights after work this week and I am getting 3.5 - 4.0 mb/s transfer rates on my wireless G network. Able to play music, movies, read files from the Linkstation to my laptop with no hiccupps. Ran a test backup using the free NovaBackup application and it appears to have worked and test restores were successful of individual files/folders. I plan to buy a 2nd to enable backup between the 2 Linkstations for safety. So far very pleased with the device.

Yes, I would recommend this product
This product was easy to setup. I just plugged it into my router and my Win7 PC found it. Instantly I was moving files to the NAS so the rest of the systems on the network could view them. I can easily stream movies to my HDPC. It's also very quiet. It's currently out on my desk but I can't hear it.
