Yes, I would recommend this product
The Smart TV arrived promptly. It was easy to unpack, assemble and hook up. I found it easy to set up and to start using immediately. The picture quality is excellent. I like to watch remastered old films and this smart TV really makes viewing them a new and fresh experience.
I have had issues with some (not all) Hulu Plus shows and movies not downloading. But this seems to be an issue with Hulu, not the television. Hulu has sent me instructions that will hopefully rectify this issue, but I haven't had a chance to follow their instructions yet. Besides that issue the TV is easy to use and navigate. YouTube videos stream well with my ATT Uverse DSL service.

My only complaint thus far, is minor and involves the "pop-up keyboard" that displays on the TV when you need to enter information while in the web browser. It is controlled by the toggle buttons on the remote, and is rather tedious to use in order to navigate and type in information. I ended up plugging in a wireless mouse in order to preserve my sanity and make typing on the on screen keyboard easier! However, it was still tedious using the onscreen keyboard. If there is an easier way to type information into this TV web browser, I'd like to know! Luckily I do not use the web browser function very often or it would be a problem! Overall, for streaming videos and watching DVDs this television has an excellent picture and sound.

Very Nice Mid Size LED for small Apartment

Yes, I would recommend this product
Purchased online from Dell, delivered by 3rd party as promised. Excellent product. I purchased the 40" because of small apartment, wall mounted it. Great HD picture, up to
1920 x 1080. Mainly purchased it to stream content from my nearby Dell XPS-435t/9000 monster PC with 24 GB HDD. The TV is wireless ready, and connected to my Time Warner router easily, via on screen menus. The PC side (AllShare) software which comes with the TV works ok, but it does need to mature somewhat. I will probably settle on a 25 foot HDMI cable and simply use the 40" LED as 2nd screen to run my movies and content. The TV is software and hardware ready for keyboard/mouse. The on board sound is, of course, lacking, but what can you expect in an extremely slim TV. I got a very nice sound bar to mount under it, and use wireless headphones with a receiver. The TV has plenty of inputs/outputs to do most anything you want.

I am very happy with my newly purchased Samsung Series 6 40-inch UN40ES6100 1080P Slim LED HDTV!
Pro: Excellent external features, picture and sound quality. This TV was very easy to set-up and the activation of all of its features was also very easy. Even though I chose standard deliver, the TV was received timely and without problems. Great job Dell from the handling of the purchase, delivery and the after purchase follow-up!
