Great Card

Yes, I would recommend this product
This card is a beast!
Pros This card can handle everything I throw at it. It handles Battlefield 3 very well at ultra settings at 4800 x 900 resolution.
Cons The current AMD driver release 12.6 may cause BSOD. If it does, just uninstall the drivers and use the beta version 12.7 and the problem will go away.
Other Notes I currently have it installed in my Dell XPS 8100. It's a real tight fit, had to move the hard drive to a different spot, but it will fit and I also bought a new 800w power supply unit(PSU) to support the power requirements the video card needs. It does have a slight bottleneck with the Core i5-650, but its not real bad. Due to the bottleneck in the CPU, you are not going to be able to record with fraps and game at the same time. I just ordered an Alienware R4 Aurora and I'm going to put it in there when it arrives.
Info Regarding Eyefinity I am running this card in Eyefinity mode(3 monitors) and the only thing you need is a HDMI to Mini display port Active Adapter OR a DVI to Mini display port Active Adapter if any of your monitors doesn't have a Mini display port. You must use the mini display port on the card to run the 3rd monitor. You can use different size monitors if you want, but you have to use a common resolution between all monitors.
(VERY IMPORTANT: you must have an active adapter. Passive adapters will not work if your monitor doesn't natively support the mini display port)
If you decide to buy this card, you won't be disappointed.
Pros:Gaming, security auditing, streaming content

HD 7970 3 GB Is Heavenly

In general, if you are wanting a powerhouse video card the 7970 will deliver.
I run an Intel Core i7 920 processor overclocked to 3.2 GHz, 9.0 GB RAM, 64-bit Win7 Home Premium, and this card.
So far this card has shredded every game without any issues. 90+ FPS on all games such as Skyrim, Star Wars:TOR, Mass Effect 3, Diablo III, etc.
One of the most impressive performance markers is the improvement I received in BF3. Previously I had issues with framerate drop which was resolved fully with this card.
BF3 on all Ultra Settings, on all maps, with 64 players and even the most intense situations will never show an FPS dip below 70 FPS. Most of the time the card will maintain a 95-110 FPS solid hold.
While using the same setting and running FRAPS, 60 FPS recording on full 1920x1080 resolution, I am able to maintain above 60 FPS which is absolutely amazing.
As has been noted, the fan can be fairly loud, but it is no more loud than any of the other gaming rig hardware in use and does not raise the noise level above what is expected when rocking out a game at full settings.
So far I have not been able to actually stress this card. Most of my games played are at the top of the graphics market, so I am not sure if there is anything out there that can truly reach this card's limit.
This is a MUST HAVE for anyone that is a serious gamer!

I really don't know what to say other than I am completely pleased and impressed with this card. Not only am I not running a crossfire system right now but plan on adding another one so I can. You can crank the clocks up on this thing and it never looks back. Gaming is awesome. Fan is a little on the louder than usual side but I'm liquid cooled on the cpu and chipsets so I just put it under my gaming table. Noise solved. It's awesome, it's fast, and so far it's run flawlessly. I can't wait to order another one.
