Yes, I would recommend this product
Bought this to overcome an "issue" that i have since switching ISP's from Shaw to Telus. Since Telus provides ADSL via the phone lines and i live in a townhouse i don't have a phone hook up near my media center (where i have a PS3 and XBOX hooked up and stream movies, etc.. to from my computer). This means i had to migrate my router from my living room (where the media center is) to an upstairs office in the opposite corner of my townhouse), to give you an idea of the distance we're talking about 75 feet and up a floor.
Previously had computer connected to wireless router and XBOX/PS3 had wired connections each. Not possible anymore so now i have this media bridge serving the XBOX and PS3 with wired connections and the bridge connecting wirelessly to my ASUS rt-n56u router.
As my review says, this "just works" which is awesome. Skipped the CD installation altogether and used the WPS (wifi protected setup) mode on my router / the TrendNet bridge. A total of 2 button clicks and i was in business.
I have no idea how accurate this measurement is, but i use a program called PS3 media server to stream video from my computer (now on a wired connection) to my PS3 (now wired , but over the wireless bridge), reported my max throughput at around 90 MB/s ... more than enough for my needs.
All in all i couldn't be happier with this product (and the fact that i got it on sale at dell doesn't hurt), it does what it says and it "just works" unlike so many other tech products out there.
