This Software Made My PC VERY Slow!

No, I do not recommend this product.
I noticed my computer was running slower and got issues with some programs like my adobe flash player about a day after I downloaded this! I strongly do not advise anyone to use any McAfee. It came FREE and most things that come free or cheap are not any good anyway!

Great price for a good product

Yes, I would recommend this product
I've had this program for many years, but each year it's a struggle to renew, because the renewal price is usually to high. Just by chance I found it at Dell at a price that I really couldn't believe. Only catch, no disk, just download. I gave it a 4 because you have to uninstall the previous version completely to have the new one work, it doesn't just update the info, so it gave me some grief to install. Otherwise, an unbelievable good price for a product that I already knew works great.

This is my second year of using this product, and it has always kept my PC safe.I enter lots of sweepstakes online and never got a virus. And the price is great and I can use it on 3 PC.

I purchased this for 3 of the computers in my home. It works great and does what it's supposed to do. I would suggest that if you have this on a childs computer make sure they let you know when it needs to be renewed.

Especially if you've purchased your laptop from Dell, much better price. I should have ordered it with the lap top. You can't beat the protection or the peace of mind having this on your computer. When I had issues between the transition of the trial version to the one I purchased, Dell support was very helpful.

Pro : McAfee software was download with no problem the e-mail that was sent was very easy to work with and go to.
Cons : I wish I would have order more copies
Review : I'm not big on buying downloaded software but I'm looking forward to working with Dell again. (Keep up the good work)

Excellant product and easy to install even on older Windows systems. had trouble starting the first download but Dell helped and were very patient via the online support.

Have been using McAfee for several years. Just recently purchased the Total Protection and am very pleased. There is a "clinch" while McAfee is running. Periodically I receive an Windows error message saying the McAfee Host encountered an error and had to close or shut down. I end up having to restart the Firewall manually each time. McAfee is aware of the problem and promised a fix sometime in mid-June of this year.

I purchased a new Dell computer for my mother in December. Normally I'm a Mac enthusiast, but after testing some Dell products at my local tech store I felt a Dell was the right choice for her. Protecting this new purchase and my mother's personal information was top priority. I read several reviews about McAfee's effective and easy to use information security software and knew, like purchasing a Dell computer, that it was the right choice. I feel reassured that my mother's personal information and her new computer are both safe and sound.
Pros: easy to download, easy to install and maintain

Yes, I would recommend this product
I have used Total Protection exclusively, after purchasing a new PC with Dell. Why, because it is the easiest to use, least intrusive Security Suite Software I have ever owned!
Pros - Easy to install, uses very little in the way of resources, great customer service, if you need it.
Cons - NONE!

Yes, I would recommend this product
Pros: Total Protection does everything it says it will. I have used Norton in the past but with the newer ease of use and user friendly interface I really recommend McAfee Total Care.
Cons. On all three of my PC's McAfee unregistered it self when the newest incarnation came out on Jan 1 of 2012
