Does reduce glare... BUT

PostedMarch 18, 2013
No, I do not recommend this product.
I had this item installed at Best Buy, because I didn't think I'd be skilled enough to do it. So $14.99 later I'm looking at a great screen! Glare was cut down drastically, without much loss to picture quality. A couple of bubbles which should dissapate as time goes on, like my other covers so I was OK with that. Well within 8 hours the bubbles had multiplied. Within 12 hours you could hardly see anything on the screen except bubbles. :-( It looked as though the screen protector was peeling away from the screen. I tried to push out the bubbles, and they would be gone for about 2 mins and come right back... with friends! So needless to say I wasted $35 on the product, $14.99 on the installation and now I'll be returning this for a refund from Amazon. So sad.
Pros:reduces glare
Cons:bubbles bubbles bubbles

anti glare product

No, I do not recommend this product.
the anti glare screen didn't fit properly over the whole screen and it had dust particles in it that caused bubbling. I had to throw it out cause it was worthless.

Yes, I would recommend this product
Pros:
Minimal noise and distortion of the screen.
Fairly sturdy, doesn't scratch easily.
Slick surface makes cleaning easy.
Cons:
Doesn't reduce glare much, but it is an improvement.
Tedious to install.
tl;dr: It will help, but it's not perfect.
Seeing as how this is the only anti-glare screen protector available for the M14x, you don't really have much choice.
Installing was finicky, as I couldn't get access to somewhere completely dust-free. In the instructional videos on their website, they show that you can lift up the protector with a piece of tape, but it sticks much stronger than that, so stronger tape would be necessary. I did manage in the end to get it on virtually speck free, and there are no noticeable dust particles.
The biggest problem is with the screen itself, where there appears to be a millimeter between the front glass and the LCD itself. this leads to weird shadows on the screen if it's in direct light and a slight reduction in sharpness.
Pros:Travel, entertainment

Reduces glare, but hard to install

PostedJanuary 23, 2012
Yes, I would recommend this product
I found that yes it does reduce glare, but it also very hard to install. Specifically it's very hard to get it lined up correctly and installed without getting any little bits of dust stuck underneath it.
If I had it to do over again, would I still buy it......maybe.

very good protection

Yes, I would recommend this product
first of all it's an anti-glare thing so it reduces the glare when it's really bright, it's easy to tell the difference. it was easy to install, however one have to spend a lot of time on it to get it on the screen perfectly without any dirty stuff.
it protects the screen a lot, without this the AW screen would just be like a piece of glass and is easy to get dirty and damaged.
Pros:on aw m14x
