Light enough that you don't mind carrying it but stable enough to handle SLR cameras with telephoto lenses.

This tripod is great for light to medium duty photography. Much better than many similarly priced products. Very sturdy and easy to use.

Yes, I would recommend this product
The product is made of sturdy material and very easy to manipulate (adjust). I did some price comparison before puchasing it. It was the best tripod for its price and i got it for free shipping.
It arrived well packaged but late coz it went out of stock. I was kept informed though of the unforeseen delay in its production.

this tripod is great. i use it on level terrain and while hiking. it's lightweight to carry on longer hikes and the ease of changing leg height makes it very convenient and sturdy.

Great little light weight tripod

Yes, I would recommend this product
I bought this for a friends birthday. He was needing a tripod for his Canon T2i. This tripod is perfectly suited for consumer level applications. I connected my 7D with battery grip with my 70-200 F2.8L lens attached and really didn't want to take my hands off of the camera. There wasn't enough support for my liking. However the T2i with standard 18-55 lens had no issues. It was held tight. The included quick release plate is a handy option but it is a bit bulky to leave on the camera.
All in all it is a perfect beginner level tripod.
