Yes, I would recommend this product
Installed 2 of these drives onto my sata III PCI card. Quick formatted and assigned drive letters. Benchmarked the drives using ATTO Benchmarking and received a max of 98,000 and 134,000 write and read on the I/O test. The drives are great. Worth purchasing.

Yes, I would recommend this product
Cons- nothing
Pros- this is a great drive, I wanted something bigger, but this was in my range for price. Its got the speed and all the storage I will need for now. It has boosted the retrieval rate of all my movies on my media box. I am able to store all my movies in one place. GREAT Drive.
Pros:my media box, surfing the internet, using netflixs

Excellent performance and speeds for a storage drive. I use these in my home server. Western Digital's warranty is excellent should I ever have any issues, though I haven't had a bad hard drive in almost five years (knock on wood).

Yes, I would recommend this product
I had bought this to replace my 250gb HDD and i could not be happier. With a drive of this size and speed you are future proof. This drive balances both Performance and Reliability. My computer now boots faster and has all the storage space you could ever possibly need and it is completely 'plug n play'. Works right out of the box.
