Yes, I would recommend this product
I purchased this product in order to store music, pictures and important documents. I meets my needs exactly. It's a simple set up, just plug in the USB and let it run through it's configurations, then simple transfer the data.

Yes, I would recommend this product
Pros- This is my second Seagate drive, bought this one for my sister, I have had this product for almost a month now and have no issues with both of them so far and this drive also supports USB 3.0
Cons- None
I definitely would recommend this product who is looking for 1TB portable hard drive for backup and transfer of files.

Yes, I would recommend this product
Pros: nice and lite to carry around. SUPER EASY to use. Put the software on the computer and plug in the drive. First time back up takes a while, do ove night and you are done. Backs up when some thing new is added to coputer is easy too. Open software and plug in the drive. Software breaks down your Documents, Pictures, Music, Videos, & Others in seperate columns with how much you have on drive and a nice bar next to it telling you total amount used and how much is available on drive.
Cons: Trying to remember to back up on a regular basis. Getting better to remember that.
I had a TON of vidoes to take off the computer. This helped make my computer faster. I got a LOT more memory than I needed, but I didn't want to have to buy on later on.

Yes, I would recommend this product
I love these little drives they are perfect for on the go scrapbooking I keep my bigger seagate at home and make sure the pictures in need will be avalible to me when I am on a scrapbook retreat. I currently own 4 seagates and they have been very reliable. Highly recommend.

Yes, I would recommend this product
right out of the box. USB powered is a definite asset! Kind of slow transferring files, but it is effective....would be faster if I had USB 3.0 on my machine. (The Seagate is compatible with USB 3.0) Make sure that you create an account at the Memeo website before you download any files to this harddrive, or you will have difficulty retrieving them.
