Great Camera, Great Price!

The Nikon D7000 has wowed me beyond belief. I started out with the Canon T3i, which is a good camera but felt/shot more like a toy. I went for the upgrade to the D7000 rather than the 5100. Aside from learning the camera, the Nikon d7000 Can Definitely take professional quality pictures whether you equip it with the proper lenses or the 18-105 that came with it. Investing in a higher quality lens may not be better for everyone's use of this camera, but can almost guarantee to save you hundreds of dollars if you plan on upgrading to a full frame camera body. If not, you will still enjoy your camera with the smaller (dx) lenses.
This camera is loaded with features and flexibility. I also like that it has the ability to record HD quality video. The 18-105 mm "kit" lens is a versatile "walking around" lens. The image quality is terrific and having two SD card slots provides for backup or expanded storage. The high ISO allows for good photos in low light where a flash cannot be used, such as at an aquarium. The camera has a solid feel and seems to be well constructed. I also found lots of instructional support on Nikon.com and YouTube which has been very helpful. The winner was Dell's beating the price of it's competition.
Pros:event photography, Travel, family event, portraits

I am amazed and astounded by the quality of this camera. I had purchased a Canon several years back which I still use and is a good camera, but the improvements and quality of the pictures and the extras on this camera are vast improvements. The camera is easy to use with some camera knowledge and the results are amazing. I do a lot of sports pics / action pics and the number of shots per second and quality is unmatched in even more expensive professional cameras I have seen. I have shot pics right beside a professional photographer and my picture quality has been better than theirs. I highly recommend this camera.

Great camera and actually worth the price!

Pros:
This camera makes great photos and the video looks great. It works well in Auto mode but learning how to use it unlocks its true potential. Mine does not have any of the early D7000 production issues... it's perfect.
Cons:
I do wish it had the articulating screen like the D3100.

Pros:
I replaced my Canon 30D & Nikon D80 with the Nikon D 7000 and what a great replacement. For years I had to use 2 cameras for all my needs but now it is all in one. It has wonderful picture quality that you get from Nikon and now you have the speed for shooting sports with great quality. I'm old school so the video I leave to video cameras. The best thing is the custom settings you can save in the D7000 that is wonderful and save time on setting up for custom lighting.
Cons:
NONE
Review:
You do not have to break into bank to get a great camera. The best non full frame camera money can buy. Thanks Nikon
Pros:wedding photos, party photos, sport photos
