Yes, I would recommend this product
works well, easy to set up. usb 3 transfer rate is 85 mb/s and usb 2 is 32 mb/s. Completely quiet. I just need it for storage not backup so I formatted the drive and removed all the WD software.

Yes, I would recommend this product
I bought this drive a little while back as a replacement for my old 500GB external drive that was about full.
So far there haven't been any problems. The drive runs very quiet, it is literally plug and play, and even on just USB 2.0 it runs quite fast. The included software on the drive makes it easy to set up a backup schedule if you want to, there is more than enough space for that.
The one thing I haven't tested yet is the USB 3.0, but from reports it's very fast.
A good external hard drive for cheap.

Yes, I would recommend this product
very fast when hooked up to usb 3.0 port...also very quiet...dont even notice it working in background backing up my system....
Pros:as a back up for my desktop
