Slow Process

Yes, I would recommend this product
The product itself was good but the download process was painful.
One would think that a download would be available immediately, but I had to wait a couple days only to figure out that the link was never sent to me. After 2 correspondences with support I was able to get the download started.
In the future if I need an immediate download I will definitely visit Amazon instead.

Excellent Product with Flaws

Yes, I would recommend this product
In my opinion, the Microsoft Office Suite is the best product on the market. I have been using it successfully for over a decade. Office 2010 continues to be a solid product that is an excellent buy.
In version 2007, Microsoft introduced their "ribbon". In 2010, all products have gone to the ribbon. I have two problems with the ribbon:
1. It decreases compatibility with add on products. Norton Antivirus worked excellently with Outlook 2007. Now the ribbon has made Norton a side button and the product no longer functions. It has lost its ability to sort out junk mail. I presume the antivirus itself is still functioning. One other add on has been completely removed as the ribbon rendered it useless.
2. The ribbon in my opinion decreases functionality. Key features that were readily accessed in previous versions of Office are now distributed in various areas of the ribbon with little consistency (insert column break is on a completely different tab from insert page break). Even after using this for a year (2007), I still find myself stopping to remember where a function has been put on the ribbon. This has slowed my functionality.
This having been said, Microsoft Office is still, in my opinion, the best.

One little glitch

Yes, I would recommend this product
I have this one three different computers. I have one from over 2 years and the other two 4 - 5 months. When deleting e-mails, everything is fine until the last e-mail and it won't go away unless I change to another folder and come back to the inbox. My two newer computers have the same problem, but not all the time. I have tried to contact Microsoft, but to no avail. Other than that, the product is great.

Yes, I would recommend this product
I recently purchased a desktop to replace my Dell laptop. I didn't opt for the preinstall of Office so I purchased after I received my new desktop. Funny thing was that I couldn't download it using Explorer 64bit which came with my computer. Fortunately it also comes with Explorer 32bit where it downloaded with ease. The instant download wasn't instant and that's why I gave it 4 stars out of 5. I did have to wait until the next day to get the download confirmation.

Yes, I would recommend this product
My wife has always worked in an office environment for many years and she was unhappy to see that on my computer there was only Microsoft Works and talked me into this product. She loves this product and works on it on her laptop everyday but we use my computer to keep important doctumentation and other personal financial information etc. This also has the new Outlook also and it helps keep a better organized email system as well....Dell had my download purchase ready within hours and I was back in business with my computer and my wife...thanks Dell...
