No, I do not recommend this product.
While the AG2 is suitable for scratch protection, you've basically got one shot at making sure your screen is perfectly clean and dust free before application, or air pockets will appear. The anti-glare feature will leave your screen viewing slightly "fuzzy". In the end, I preferred the crisp, sharp, (and unfortunately highly reflective) natural screen of the M11x.

Yes, I would recommend this product
The screen protector fits perfectly with the M11x as this was made specially for it. With cut-outs for the camera and mic. I recommend this instead of buying a general screen protector. It has also the top shape of the unit so it looks seamless.

A bit tricky to place properly if you have clumsy fingers like me, but it does its job well. Just make absolutely sure that your screen is completely clean.

Yes, I would recommend this product
It can be tricky to put on. The protector blocks the mics for the R3. I didn't have issues with dust since I did it in the bathroom after letting the shower steam the place up.
I guess it works to reflect glare. I was in a car trying to watch a movie, and it was still nearly impossible. It does make stuff slightly grainy, but it's not that bad.
Overall, it's up to the user if they want to use one or not depending on their needs.

Yes, I would recommend this product
the screen protector does what it supposed to do. it lessens the glare which helps me see what is on the screen and it protects the screen from scratches. they almost made it perfect by making a hole for the camera but missed putting holes for the 2 mics. the skin is not prepunched for the mic so you will have to make your own by piercing it with a needle, the problem with that, it will make screen protector unleveled to the screen in a miniscule way. because when you insert a needle to pierce the holes for the mic, it stretches the plastic a little bit which produces an air pocket which makes a small bubble you cannot get rid off. which is an annoyance when they should have put these holes in the first place. they should have thought about that because how can you use the mics without the holes. or maybe you can, it just will not sound clear(muffled) to the other person when you talk.

This help reduce the glare from the screen. A bit tricky to put on, but once you've got it on there, it is very useful.

Alienware's M11X screen is a mislabled mirror. If you want to check your lipstick this would be great, but if you want to see this tiny little screen anywhere but a closet then get this with your purchase. It doesn't completely get rid of the reflections, but it makes it much more manageable. Take your time and you will be rewarded with a great computer with a much improved display.
Pros:travel and general use.

Flawless install on M11x r3 w/little modification

Yes, I would recommend this product
I suffered through a year with my M11x r1's glossy screen and was not about to tolerate it with my new M11x r3. I ordered one of these and installed it the day I opened my new notebook. I followed every trick in the book to minimize dust including working in a steamy bathroom. I only had to lift one corner to remove a single spec that wasn't over the screen anyway. The dust isolation sheet step of the installations is genius, though it did make the initial alignment a bit harder (could not adjust angle when stuck to the peeled-back isolation sheet!). I have installed many similar products on other devices and they never included a over-sized sheet to apply first for removing dust. Indeed, even the package's instructions don't mention it. Is this something new or recently added to the product?
In order to expose the M11x r3's dual microphones that are farther away from the camera, I had to make two dots where they align on the sheet and used a hole punch on them before installing. It worked great! Now I'm going to install an Invisible Defenders design over it. I just gave them the measurements and they are updating with a new design for all M11x models.
Anyway, I have been using my M11x r3 with the AG2 filter far more places than I ever considered using my M11x r1 before, even outdoors. To minimize grainyness, AG2 only reduces glare without attempting to eliminate it. This is an acceptable trade-off for me. It really does work and the softness it adds to the screen is much improved over the mirror-image I could see before. Though a reflection is still visible, the slight softness makes them much more bearable, especially light sources.
I ride a motorcycle exclusively and bought my first M11x to carry my M11x in a magnetic tank bag. Due to the screen, I rarely took it anywhere. Now that I have the AG2 filter I amd carrying my new M11x r3 everywhere!

I love this anti-glare solution for my alienware m11x.
I used to have another alienware m11x that I've gave for my brother as a gift, and I was bothered by the glare reflection of my face at school and outdoors.
When I purchased this new alienware, I was making sure that I'll get the anti-glare solution.
The quality is really great and it's Japanese high-quality film. It fits your whole lcd screen and leave a small rectangle for the camera, mic, and light sensor. That means it doesn't just cover the rectangle dimensions of the screen, but the whole glass in general; which is great.
If you're outside and there is a great deal of light, you'll see some reflection of the surrounding area, but believe me with this solution is somewhat 50-70% decrease than not having it at all.
The installation is somewhat relatively easy, but you want to make sure that there are not particles of dust at all at the surface of your screen. Just make sure that you start from Top to Bottom by aligning the hole for the camera and top edges and then work your way around. I've had just one bubble won't wash away at the top of the screen, but this was due to my lack of carefulness.
I highly recommend this to everyone. To be totally honest and fair, this solution doesn't take off the whole glare 100%, but rather somewhat 50-70% which satisfies me a lot.

The screen protector does as advertised. It removes screen glare and is a easy process. Just make sure your work area is clean before hand because I messed up and got the plastic dirty so I ended up wit a few bubbles on the screen. One other thing that irked me was that the way it removes glare is by making the screen look grainy. It makes it a rougher surface so the glare is gone, but replaced with the constant grainy look. This got especially annoying while playing games. Good product for what it does but still, for $30+shipping I'd pass.

Application of the A2G anti-glare screen protector to my M11x was an easy and straight-forward process. I had one small speck of dust trapped under it which was easily removed with a piece of cellophane tape as suggested in the application instructions. The fit is perfect, screen glare is gone, and I don't notice any decrease in image quality on the M11x's screen. I highly recommend this product to anyone bothered by screen glare on their M11x.

I read a number of reviews that said the Alienware M11X screen was glarey. When I got mine I thought so too.
This protector does a good job of cutting the glare by making the screen more of a matte finish. The brightness of the text or pictures on the screen are still excellent.
The fit is perfect and the install was easy and clean.
The protector should also help prevent scratches to the screen.
Dell should put this item on the accessory list of the M11X ordering pages.
