Yes, I would recommend this product
This is an IS II lens that Canon lists at $2499, not to be confused with the IS lens that Canon lists at $1999 as suggested in another review.
GREAT lens, glad I bought the IS II version. I use it mostly for motion photography and video in fairly low light with a Canon 7D. In low light it is VERY good, in good light it is PHENOMENAL. The video I shoot with this lens is richer and sharper than my EX3. Pricey but worth it...the images I shoot with this lens get noticed.

Yes, I would recommend this product
great product but Canon retails it for 1,999.99 ...$500.00 more is abit much dont you think??
