Great Backpack

Yes, I would recommend this product
I bought this backpack to go with my 17.3” laptop, and the computer fits well. I have been using this bag since it came in Sept. 2012 five days a week and am happy with its durability so far. I like that it has two separate main pockets. It has a side pocket that works great for smaller stuff (like my portable hard drive). The front small pocket has a cellphone holder that is a little dated size and shape wise (I keep my USBs there not my phone), three pencil/pen holders. and room for other things (like a mini stapler). The backpack rides well and is easier to adjust to fit different people.
Overall I am very happy with this backpack. The mouse and surge protector were a great plus,

The backpack is well made and holds all my school stuff without a problem, the mouse is a nice addition and the mini power strip comes in handy when I have a lot of accesories to plug in.

This is a great bundle from a well-known name in the laptop case and backpack business (Targus made the backpack). This backpack will go through Airport security just fine.

No, I do not recommend this product.
The first impression when I opened the shipping package was "this looks chincy". The material was thin and stiff and not rugged feeling (like the 'Swiss Gear"). The compartmentation and storage loops were minimal and not well thought out or laid out. It, in my opinion was not even worth the sale price.
The padded compartment for the computer does not seem adequate to protect a computer from any but the lightest brushes with other objects.
The only part of the package that I felt was useful or of value was the four outlet surge protector. I am sorry that I bought this.

I bought this backpack for my husband and his 17 inch laptop. We have had had other cases in the past and this backpack is great. It is comfortable, roomy, attractive and I just cannot say enough good things about it. I am getting ready to buy another for my daughter. It is also very well made.

Yes, I would recommend this product
I had a briefcase style laptop case and this is so much easier to tote around - instead of the laptop being on your hip when you sling it where it gets knocked by tables and chairs -it rests on your back and is safe from many more bumps and dings. Space for other junk and papers is just as good as the other too!

I am very pleased with the bundle, There is still plenty of room for folders books and tablets as well as my phone sunglasses, reading glasses and even a water bottle. Pricing was a little high but for all you get it is worth the money. So far, it is perfect for my needs. I also purchased a 17" Dell Laptop which fits very well in the bag.
Pros:personal use- basic programs, online games, music and video, blue ray movies, social forums, profesional/moderate drafting

I was looking for a bag for the new Dell 17" Inspiron I had just built and ordered and came across this backpack. I must admit I was skeptical at first as I had ordered a backpack for the mini 10 I bought and not everything fits in it.
This backpack is perfect for all the small accessories you want to carry. Plenty of room for power cords, mouse, cabling, etc.
I love the way the laptop has it's own padded compartment with a snug fit. No chance of being jiggled around and enough padding to protect it from other items in the pack.
Way to go Dell! Another great product reasonalby priced.

My dad bought me this backpack for my computer. He is currently deployed to Iraq and still founf the time to order me this amazing backpack. My computer fits perfectly inside with power cord and all kinds of extra goodies. I can carry my school work and my laptop everywhere I go now on my back. Using my bike to and from school is much easier now hen I want to take my computer too. No more computer hand bag or shoulder bag for me!!

The backpack is great! It's very comfortable and has a lot of compartments for almost anything! The mouse that comes with it is a good mouse but the cord is a little too short for my taste. Overall, it's definitely a must have!

Sure, it's convenient and holds my 17" but is it really designed specifically for a computer? I suspect the company that manufacturers them has a range of tags with different uses printed on them.
Amused to see pockets designated for such things as "adapters" etc. when in fact every backpack has the same pockets.

Colors and/or a logo if you're going to try and sell it as a product "designed" for a specific Dell product.

The backpack is very spacious. It fits my 17" laptop with all its accessories from power to cooling, external HD and mouse, and 3D glasses. It also has extra capacity for my school supplies including books and a binder. It repels rain and keeps everything dry inside.
I love how well the mouse reads movement. I never need a mouse pad.
