Yes, I would recommend this product
I use this adapter to connect my laptop to my legacy LCD monitor with a VGA input. It works well and is easy to set up. Just attach one end to the VGA cable from your monitor and plug the other end into the Mini Display Port on your laptop. It's that easy.

Yes, I would recommend this product
I needed this adapter to use my new computer with my LCD Projector. I plugged it in and it worked immediately. Excellent quality.
