Not a true Access point

No, I do not recommend this product.
This product only works with Linksys routers. You can't configure it to work as a traditional access point. There is no way to configure it without plugging it into a linksys router and using the web interface of the router to configure the AP. I purchased this with the idea of plugging it into a LAN to allow Wireless access to devices but it is not capable of this. Called support and they would only repeatedly ask me what router I was using after explaining over and over that I wasn't using a router. I gave up in frustration and will be returning the product to purchase a true access point.
