Title:

It works and it's cheap.

PostedApril 15, 2011
Yes, I would recommend this product
I bought this tuner while I was in Melbourne. I currently live in London.
This tuner works in both cities just fine.
Forget using the tiny little antenna. You'll probably only get SBS in Melbourne and nothing in London. You have to use a proper arial.
Although I have used a high quality indoor arial with good results. Best to use the wall socket.
For visitors to the UK. The FM socket isn't the same as the TV socket. You need to plug it into the TV socket.
The good thing I like about this tuner is you get a full sized remote with proper buttons. It's just like a normal TV remote which works with Media centre and other media apps.

Works well when connected to outside roof antenna

PostedMarch 4, 2011
Yes, I would recommend this product
I never tried the enclosed internal antenna, but as soon as I plugged in a cable that connects to the roof antenna, Leadtek USB TV tuner scanner worked really well. I prefer to watch TV via Microsoft's Windows Media Centre (comes with Windows 7/Vista) as the EPG menus are easier to navigate rather than the inbuilt supplied software. I too run on two monitors and can mouse between the two screens. I usually have the TV on one monitor and my PC applications on the other monitor. Certainly a whole lot cheaper than buy a new 60" LED TV
Pros:used on home pc

Title:

can only see 1 channel

PostedFebruary 15, 2011
No, I do not recommend this product.
I set it up according to instructions, but the only channel I get is SBS. I re-installed the software but nothing changes. I'm in Melbourne city with good opening outside my window where I put the antenna provided, so no idea how to improve the signal further. I've thrown away all the packaging, so seems have to buy another one elsewhere now!

Very good tuner for a great price!

PostedDecember 2, 2010
Yes, I would recommend this product
Works as advertised, perfect picture, currently running with two monitor and no side effects or issues when dragging across displays. Can run the tuner with time shifting and play a variety of video games or media apps with no noticeable performance loss. Reviewer above needs to get a better aerial or better cable shielding. Default tuner software is simple to use, no complex menus or confusing options.

Worst TV Tuner Ever

PostedOctober 28, 2010
No, I do not recommend this product.
This is the worst TV Tuner ever. It can't receive any signal with the provided antennae and when you use and outdoor antennae, the image quality is poor. This is the worst product ever. You should definitely buy another TV tuner. I'm going to ask Dell for a refund.
