Yes, I would recommend this product
This is a perfect HTPC keyboard with trackball for those who are tired of IR blaster or other means of remote control devices for HTPC.

Yes, I would recommend this product
I am an average home user. I wanted a wireless to use with my new Inspiron Laptop and my LCD 42" as monitor in my bedroom. My set up has my laptop about 8' away from where I use the keyboard. To clarify a couple of things that I was curious about but couldn't really find the answers for in the specs... the mousing ball is on the on right side of the key board and the left/right clicker is on the left. You do have to use 2 hands to operate the mousing portion. It does have a scrolling dial by the left/right mouse buttons too. It came with batteries. The senser/reciever is super small and as my laptop is stationary by the TV now it is not a hinderance. It is taking a little practice but is definately more functional than a keyboard and mouse separate. I have been using it now for 2 days and aside from the regular 'got to get used to this' have found this to be a great purchase. I actually returned what I had originally bought at Best Buy that was $20 more expensive and not integrated. I am VERY happy with the product
