Sturdy alternative to a USB WiFi adapter

Yes, I would recommend this product
With Wi-Fi available almost everywhere, most people won't need one of these relatively rare adapters. However, wired connections have a few advantages:
1) generally faster (though Wi-Fi will soon pull ahead)
2) more stable - no outages or mysteriously slowdowns
3) easier to configure and more secure - no need for keys and such

This model works as expected - on my Linux-based gadget, I just plugged it in and it worked. I never had to open the (very skimpy) manual or install any driver. It works fine through a USB hub, as well.
