No, I do not recommend this product.
I purchased the recommended 2G memory to upgrade my older Optiplex. System would not boot. Online tech support then tells me that I need 400 or 533MHz memory, not the 800 that was listed.

No, I do not recommend this product.
I ordered 4 2GB RAM to upgrade my PC (XPS 420 quad CPU with 4GB RAM); the sales rep on the phone assured me that it was appropriate, even after I told him that I thought I had a 32 Bit operating system. I now confirmed that I do have a 32 bit operating system (right click on COMPUTER, select properties) which will not support more than 4GB RAM. I am NOT HAPPY with DELL.

Yes, I would recommend this product
This memory is awesome. Tried generic memory from Best Buy and it seemed liked it was too slow and sluggish. Figure price was good, so I purchased certified Dell memory from Dell and the computer runs like it was brand new. This certified memory fit the system like a glove and works great. Be weary of after-market memory, it you get the chance, buy Dell certified memory and you will be surprised on how well the your computer runs.
