Great solution for home server

Yes, I would recommend this product
I turned my Dell XPS400 into a windows home server and ordered two of these bays to house a few 1TB hard drives.
I do not plan to use "hot swap" so they are perfect for me. If I was planning to hot swap I would look for bays where the connection isnt being broken at the hard drive itself when unplugged.
You may need to get creative if mounting them one over another like I did. The factory dell bay lugs were too big and these did not fit. The solution was to use standard drive mounting screws (included with rack). They have a smaller shank and allow both racks to be mounted together.
The fans are a tad noisy, but that's to be expected from a tiny fan. The drives are on average 6-7c cooler in these bays than they were mounted in 3.5 slots...
Oh yea, ordered on Monday recieved on Wednesday without upgraded shipping!! Overall, I am happy!
