Yes, I would recommend this product
this writer has done everything it said it was supposed to. Your can also burn 18 minutes of hd video blu ray on a standard dvd. this will play in a sony playre or ps3
It does seem a little loud at times!
No problems to date.
Software plays perfectly on computer too.
