Yes, I would recommend this product
I purchased this HDD for my movies and music. I needed am external HDD for my Mac that had Firewire 400 and this product has served me well.

Yes, I would recommend this product
Having used this for about a month, I have no issues. Firewire is fast, partitioning went off without a hitch, and no problems. Generates some heat, but the unit is well-ventilated, so I have no concerns. Great for media storage.

Yes, I would recommend this product
I bought this to back up my Home Server and to take offsite.Though I had to reformat it for Windows. So far its doing its job flawlessly!

Yes, I would recommend this product
I love this drive. My old Maxtor died, and I replaced with this one. Very quiet and very fast. Would recommend a backup always if you are using RAID 0, because you will lose everything if you lose one drive. You can't go wrong with this - looks good, fast, quiet, and USER maintainable.

Yes, I would recommend this product
The interfaces available work great. FW880 or eSata are not always both available so it is great to have both so you can go with one or the other. USB works in a pinch.
