Does what it says it does

Yes, I would recommend this product

I purchased this cooling device for my alienware 17"laptop. I called to see if they had specific alienware cooling devices but looks like they don't so just got a random one. It actually works pretty well, USB powered, blows cool air under the laptop. It's smaller than my 17" but the laptop still fits nicely on it and it's not that high that I can't type comfortably. One thing to note, when powering on the laptop, the bios warns me that I have the wrong battery on - that's because the cooler is plugged in, the message goes away when you boot without the cooler, but either way it's nothing to worry about.
