Yes, I would recommend this product
I will not give up my D610 it is so reliable and has never let me down a testament to the product itself.However as application software has become more memory intensive and internet usage increased rapidly with multiple pages open at any one time plus upgrading to XP pro system started to run slower and slower. checked total main memory which was I/2 Gb usage was 342Mb with just XP loaded ordered and installed 2 1Gb matched memory modules Like having a new laptop boot time for XP is as fast as it can be application software and internet use so much faster would recommend this upgrade to anyone having the type of problems described. by the way Dells serice and delivery of product was excellent to
