Yes, I would recommend this product
I am still not sure why my brand new top of the line computer did not have a 9 pin connector in the back of the tower (or anywhere else). I had to purchase this 9-pin to USB port adapter cable in order to plug in my Palm.
Pros:The cable worked great as it was intended to. My Palm 9-pin went into one end of the cable and the other end of the cable was a USB to plug into my tower.
