Yes, I would recommend this product
Best keyboard by far I have ever used for “business” purposes. If you are a gamer, I would HIGHLY recommend the Alienware set up instead (I have that also on another PC). But if you want a good quality and very functional keyboard, this is it. My ONLY gripe is the LCD screen on the actual keyboard is not that bright, sometimes can be difficult to see. Other than that, I love it!

Yes, I would recommend this product
I use this set up at work and on a few home PC's connection is easy and does not lose its link often. Mouse wheel is bit nloud versus older model.

Excellent product, except if you're left handed. Mouse ergometically contoured for a right handed person. Useless for me since I'm not right handed.

Yes, I would recommend this product
I actually bought this model keyboard and mouse combo about 3 or 4 years ago. I used it for heavy, heavy gaming, and general all day operation. After those 3 or 4 years, I've changed the batteries in my keyboard twice, I think. At least once, no more than two times. The contact from the mouse to the charger started to rust and lose effectiveness, after 3 or 4 years near the ocean, but it still works, like new basically. The range on the reciever is a good 15-20 feet right now. Finding out that after all this time, it is still worth about $150+ as of April 2012 is really not a big surprise to me at all. I have Logitech 5.1 speakers that are 5 years old and still work great. So if you buy this wireless keyboard mouse combo, know that you made the right choice.

Yes, I would recommend this product
After researching online, I ordered the MX5500 wireless keyboard because I was looking for volume control at my fingertips and to get rid of unsightly wires.
The product arrived and, to my delight, not only had what I was looking for, but I found the touch to be the lightest and quietest full-sized keyboard I have ever used. I found additional functions on the keyboard that were cool that I didn't even know existed (like the screen with the date/time readout). I also found the mouse to be ergonomic and easy to adjust to.
I've had it now for about a month, and to date have not found any cons to report.

I thoroughly enjoy my keyboard and mouse. My computer is plugged into my TV and I can sit in bed and use it. The distance and accuracy is amazing with a bluetooth keyboard verses a wireless keyboard. Definiately happy with my purchase!

Yes, I would recommend this product
This is the best keyboard and mouse combo I have ever seen or used. The MX Revolution mouse is amazing, I previously owned the MX1000 mouse and it was also a great product but logitech really stepped it up with the Revolution. The wireless keyboard works flawlessly and the buttons are smooth as silk. There sre so many features and programmable buttons that I don't think I'll ever use them all but it sure is nice knowing they're there. The range is excellent and I love that the charging base for the mouse is independent unlike the older mx1000 that had to be plugged into the wall and a USB port. This combo works together on one wireless bluetooth USB dongle

Yes, I would recommend this product
I have three of these sets and they all work perfectly on my laptop and my wife's desktop. However, none of them work on my Dell XPS730 desktop. I have tried to get service through Dell and get referred to Iyogi and since I cannot understand them I have pretty much given up. In all fairness Logitech never was able to get any of them to work either. I only bought this 3rd one in the hopes Dell might be of some help since the last time I used there tech support it was U.S. based. I will not be buying anything further from Dell because if I can't use tech support they may as well not have one.

Keyboard and mouse are a nice combination. It hooks up easily on my new Dell XPS. Love the display, that's a nice feature. I'm still working with it to see what all it will do. The mouse is ok,though not as great as the keyboard. Battery life for me is about a week. The mouse dock is a great feature.
I run twin monitors and sometimes the mouse will not wake up the PC from a hibernate status so I end up having to reboot. Generally speaking, the product is worth the price.

Yes, I would recommend this product
I purchased this combo because I wanted a Bluetooth system for my new computer so I can use while connected through my 55" HDTV. It works incredibly. I had the chance to test out the combo extensively as it is what my company uses exclusively in all of its meeting rooms in the office. The keyboard controls are excellent for media and business functions and the mouse is by far the best one I have ever used. The mouse's scroll function and page back/fwd keys are incredible for surfing the webs or browsing large PDF files. And the combo works flawlessly with Windows 7! I highly recommend this combo.

Yes, I would recommend this product
Pros. Everything. Bluetooth, Rechargable mouse with stand, Programable keys, Aero keys, Multimedia keys, Etc. Control FLIP with button on side of mouse.
Cons. None
Keys are same size as most keyboards, quiet and has a great feel to them. The LCD screen may be small and Dark but if you press the "FN" key along with "LCD" key it does backlight nicely. Much easier to see.
So many controls and options for custom controls you almost don't need the mouse. But, I will keep mine.

I love the MX5500 keyboard and mouse. The keyboard has features I haven't seen on other keyboards and the feel of the keyboard when typing is terrific. I especially love the rechargeable mouse. There have been so many times when I've used other wireless products where the battery dies and then I can't get the thing to reconnect with the computer once I change the battery - - - very frustrating. With this product I just place the mouse in it's recharge tray - - no batteries to change. I have another computer in the house and will be ordering a second MX5500 very soon. Love it and my significant other is jealous because I have one and he doesn't! I would recommend this product to anyone!

I've had an older version of this bluetooth mouse/keyboard combo for a few years and when the keyboard died a short time back I opted to get the newest version and I have to say that there were some nice improvements. Installation was easy though there seems to be an issue with Windows 7 that I don't get the information back from the computer. It's not an important issue but it was always nice to see my name in the LCD display on the keyboard when I logged on. Overall I'm very happy with the unit.

No, I do not recommend this product.
The keyboard is nice with some good features, however the keys are very small almost seems like a child's keyboard. It's not very comfortable at all, I personally had a better time with a regular dell brand. It is not worth the money paid. The LCD screen can barely be seen (needs to have backlit properties) The mouse on the other hand is great, I have to say the design is wonderful as well as ease of use. Overall I would get rid of the keyboard and keep the mouse, but at over $100.00 it would be a very expensive mouse;(

PROS.. Not having to buy batteries for the mouse any longer.. Love the design of the mouse. The keyboard.. I love having alot of things at my fingertip with just the touch of a button... Pic's.. Music.. Calc.. IE.. etc.. etc.. Sure beats having to go thru the steps of Start, and all that.. Much easier and simpler..
