I have two of these Kingston 8GB SDHC Class 4 memory cards and I have used them in three different cameras: a Canon, SD1100, a Canon A2000, and a Pentax Optico S-10. The cards have worked flawlessly in all three cameras. These Kingston cards also worked well in a SanDisk MobileMate™ SD Plus 5-in-1 Card Reader, Model Number: SDDR-104-A11M. So, these Kingstown memory cards seem to be compatible with everything that I have!
What amazed me is that after taking pictures in a Canon A2000, I could take the Kingston card out of the camera, and insert the card into the Pentax S-10 camera, and read the pictures I took in the other camera! So, apparently, the Kingston card, the Canon camera, and the Pentax camera are all writing data in the same format! It is nice to see such smooth cooperation between Kingston, Canon, and Pentax in their compliance with the SD standards.
It does not read or write as fast as I would like, but it is about as fast as comparable Class 4 cards that I have from SanDisk. If you want greater read-write speed, you will need to go to a faster Class 6 card.
So, overall, the Kingstown 8BG Class 4 card is a good value for the money, and seems to be compatible with everything that I can throw at it. A great card!
