Yes, I would recommend this product
My roomate had one and he said it was very good but I say it's excelllent. More space and very durable too. I just hope t remains like that for as long as I want.

Yes, I would recommend this product
Well i bought this laptop about a month back, have been using it since then, no problems so far, very stylish, big with alot of space, use it to carry my laptop and books to library and back, also traveled around the world with a lot of stuff in it, its very strong and did not give any problems so far,
I consider it has 2 cons, 1. it does not have a small pocket where i can place small coins or other small stuff like flash drive and find it easily
2. its laptop compartment is continuous with the other main compartment from bottom side. I think it would have been better if both were separate.

I am very happy with this bag pack. I was looking for one not too big, and my XPS 17 fits just right. I still have enough space to take everything else I need to go to work. I appreciate a lot all the pockets!

After 2 months, still liking the IBEX!

Yes, I would recommend this product
Brand new out of the packaging, it was kind of stiff. It definitely needs a little break-in time. New out of the packaging, my only worry was that one of the zippers seemed to hang up a little on the material inside one of the large compartments. However, after a month of use, this stopped as the backpack broke in a little.
This is my first laptop backpack... as I transition away from a shoulder bag... and I am really liking the IBEX. It keeps the weight over the center of my back very nicely. I have my work laptop (17" Lenovo laptop), work day planner, school books and my Bible study materials all stuffed in the pack and it handles the full load nicely.
Even with the "vented" padding, it is still kind of hot on the back... but I expected that... it is July and 97F outside.
Two months into the IBEX and I think the IBEX is all pros and no cons at this point.
It is large, I like the "self stand-up" feature, the storage is awesome, the zippers are working very nice now that it has broke in, the small red lined storage pocket on the top is excellent for car keys, sun glasses and all the items you need to grab quickly. I can not think of any cons to add.
FYI Dell.com shipped quick and had the best price. I will shop here again.

I am a Systems Analyst and I basically have to carry a small network in my bag. My old wheeled bag was not convenient and my right arm was getting longer than my left carrying my other bag. This backpack style bag meets my needs as it is large enough to carry all my stuff and still is comfortable to carry. I cover many large hospitals and Universities in multiple states so I do a lot of walking with my equipment. This bag is fantastic as it has room tor carry and keep everything organized. I take classes at night and all my monster size books fit right in as well. I could not be more pleased with the fit and the quality.

This product is head and shoulders above any of the packs I considered. It has multiple conveniently located pockets for quick access to your gear. It is spacious and stands upright when loaded. I use it every day to carry a laptop, multiple books, cables, etc. The pack is well padded and comfortable. You won't be disappointed.

This is the best Backpack I have ever purchased. I bought 2 of them for myself and my son.
It has plenty of room for all your carry items, made of durable materials which makes it last for a very long time, not heavy to carry, and best of all the price is great compare to other Backpacks.

This pack replaced an earlier version that I had for abput 5 years. I love the Swiss Army merchandise since it is always well made and virtually indestructable. This pack has numerous pockets for the items I need to travel with and is very well designed. The only problem I have with it is my older version had an open pouch on the lower part of the pack that was really conveinet for storing sunglasses, umbrellas and other stuff I needed to keep in easy reach.

This is the first backpack I've purchased for carrying my laptop and other papers. I use it every day and for my business trips. I love the organization it provides with all the compartments for storing things. There is a place for everything in this backpack!
I also love the bottle/drink holders on the sides. It makes it so easy to keep up with my water bottle or drink at the airport.
Being a Swiss Gear product I expected a quality backpack and they delivered! I expect to have this one for a long, long time!

Love the top carry handle with is reinforced with a metal cable inside, very sturdy and well made quality product. Lots of room and pockets to organize all your stuff. Love that it has a spot for your earphones to come out of for your ipod.

I do some minor systems/hardware work and travel to local client sites. I have every pocket filled with tools, cabling, external hard drives, and my new Inspiron 17R laptop and wireless mouse. The typical load in the bag is 30+ pounds and it holds up great. Very sturdy and well designed!!!

upgraded to this bag from a locally purchased messenger bag for my 6 month old XPS17. Swiss Gear is known for their quality, with good reason. Excellent backpack, and big enough to hold my 17.3 screen laptop (though it is a bit snug). Good front pockets with room for files and books, great accessory pockets and well padded. Like how it is designed to stand on its own. Highly recommend!

I bought this backpack for my new 17.3" laptop. This will be used for my laptop and as my carry-on for trips. The pack is extremely well made, lots of separate storage pockets for all my peripherals. The pack also holds all of my usual carry-on items with room to spare. The pack is comfortable to wear, very good ergonomics on design. It fits in the overhead bin on the planes I have been on so far. I can highly recommend it. We'll see how it holds up with time but I'm not worried it's well built.
