Yes, I would recommend this product
Pros: The price is well worth the drive.
Its a perfect replacement for the original HDD that went out in a Lattitude D620 that I was repairing for a friend.
Cons: The only con that I can consider is that you could not get the Dell OS Image on it during purchase.

Have had the hard drive for a couple of months now and have not had any problems. I have always had western digital hard drives and they have all lived up to their name.

Extra step when upgrading a Latitude D600

Yes, I would recommend this product
Drive is great, but it does not plug directly into the Latitude D600. The old drive had a plastic adapter attached to it that allows the conversion from the skinny pins to the pins accepted by the Latitude. When you remove the bezel from the old drive you will see the adapter. You must carefully transfer the adapter from the old drive to the new drive to get it to fit. Previous drives ordered from Dell were already compatible and did not require this extra step. Most of the Dell techs had not yet been trained on this and I went through many before I found one that understood and told me to transfer the adapter.

No, I do not recommend this product.
This item does not fit the D420 Latitude, which needs a 1.8 inch hard drive, not 2.5 inch. This product may be listed under products for which it works fine, but it is listed as a replacement for the D420 Latitude, and I am writing this review specifically for this webpage listing.
