Messes up Windows 7

No, I do not recommend this product.
While this has fixed my USB problems however it stalls windows 7 when the computer restarts. It literally hangs up BIOS and when its unplugged it will allow the BIOS to continue to load. This is very disappointing.

Yes, I would recommend this product
I am very pleased with this product. It solves a big problem, especially on a laptop, by providinbg a place for usb plug & play peripherals. Excellent !

Finally more Ports!
This Dell PC (Dim 400Lc) has onlu 2 USB Ports. One Port is taken by an External Hard Drive (WD My Book) and well ... Now! 7 more Ports added; which is a total of eight. :D
What I like with the Belkin 7 Port Hub, is the external Power Adapter. I had two MP3/Video Players connected and one really needed a charging. The external Power Source takes a load off the PC and feeds the players. Enjoy!

Port hubs don't come any easier to use than this one. If you are looking for a multi-port USB 2.0 hub, consider this one. It's GREAT.
Pros:7-port hubs are really handy for me. I've been using the regular 7- port hub (5 in back, 2 on top) from Belkin up till now, and they are really nice. The detachable portion is one really great feature. I take it with me when I leave my house and go to my ranch office. Very versatile. Very portable. I've always gotten good, reliable service from Belkin and Dell products.
Cons:Just one con.......it's a bit pricey. I'd like to see the price lowered a notch or two, as my family could use another two or three.
