Impact Acoustics PC to TV converter

PostedAugust 25, 2009
Yes, I would recommend this product
After reading other reviews I was skeptical as to whether the device would work. I used it to convert vga(laptop) to rca for a big screen slideshow at a wedding rehearsal dinner. I was quite surprised to find it worked perfectly, with very good reception. I first tried a vga to rca adapter and found this does not work at all and was probably a scam. Thanks for the device.....

Does not work as advertised

PostedSeptember 24, 2007
No, I do not recommend this product.
Cons:I was able to get a picture on my screen but it was so out of focus that you couldn't make anything put. Not worth the money.

Does Not Work

PostedAugust 19, 2007
No, I do not recommend this product.
I purchased hoping it would allow me to easily view my computer screen and subsequently movies on my TV monitor. At first it seemed easy to install. However, things took a down turn when getting to step 5 of the instruction manual. According to the diagram 3 small switches are turned on/off to permit transfering a NTSC or PAL signals. The problem is there are in fact FOUR switches. Nevertheless, despite following the chart I never got more than a blue flickering screen. Even trying different combinations of the switches had not effect.
Pros:None that I could see.
Cons:Does not work as advertised for viewing your PC onto a TV screen. Maybe it works with a flat screen I have no idea. But it certianly did not work for my year-old TV.
