Yes, I would recommend this product
Absolutely handled the job. Added the additional USB ports plus the energy requirements of notebook cooling pads.

Yes, I would recommend this product
This hub works off of either the computer USB or ac power and the cords needed for both are supplied.
This means I can use it where there is ac power to run my cooling stand after the computer is shut down for some added cooldown.
It also means I can use it to charge my Creative Zen MP3 player without starting the computer or buying the alternative charger.
It is small enough that it fits into a pocket of the computer bag.
It has worked, as it should, with every USB device I have attached, printer, exterrnal drive, MP3 player, mouse, etc.

Yes, I would recommend this product
Had a generic USB hub but it couldn't handle the more demanding USB devices, so I purchased this one based on the description of its capabilities. It handles all my USB requirements flawlessly. I even have another hub plugged into and it carries that one also. Worth the money for hasselfree USB peripherals.

Pros:The hub installs automatically, has a small footprint and works exactly as
advertised. It is also more attractive than many other hubs I have seen. I
have always been pleased with Belkin products and this is no exception.
Cons:None.
