useless if forget combination.

No, I do not recommend this product.
I have an older one with the combination that you set. I set the combo and promptly forgot the combo. To get the thing open so I can use it takes a massive amount of time(not to mention sore fingers) trying each and every possible combination until I find the right one. If you have trouble remembering combinations etc, this is not the one for you. in which case,get the one with the keys.

Good Lock

Yes, I would recommend this product
This is so far the best laptop lock I have tried. The other Targus I am using at my company (ASP29US retractable cable lock) has a much thinner cable and it goes around a plastic piece - not as good.
Pros:Set your own code, thicker cable than others, long 6.5 foot cable, base plate included
Cons:Must use stickers to make it tighter in lock slot, comes in too much packaging, made in china
