No, I do not recommend this product.
Pros:It extends USB
Cons:It is only USB 1 which is 12 Mbit/sec, not USB 2 which is 480 Mbit/sec. For a keyboard or mouse or a legacy USB 1 device, that will be fine. But don't get this for a network or storage or other high speed device. Think about trying to use a 480 MBit USB hard drive or 100 MBit Ethernet or 54 MBit 802.11g over a device that can only go 12 MBit...
